AI Growth & LLM Visibility Lead

Department

Engineering

Location

Global (Remote)

Employment type

Full-time

As the AI Growth & LLM Visibility Lead, you will set the vision that makes our content discoverable and cited across both traditional search engines and LLMs. You will shape the roadmap, study how large language models surface information, guide engineers on the right technical enhancements and run data-driven experiments that lift traffic and conversions. You will keep the team ahead of fast-moving algorithms and API changes - turning technical insights into measurable growth wins. As both executor and pioneer, you will invent the playbook, run the tests and scale what works - setting the benchmark for how Islamic knowledge surfaces in the age of LLMs.

Responsibilities

  • ARCHITECT AND BROADCAST THE TECHNICAL-SEO ROADMAP FOR LLM-ERA DISCOVERY — publish living documentation (OKRs, dependency graphs, rollout plans) that aligns answer-engine optimization (AEO), site performance, and growth KPIs with wider business objectives.
  • REVERSE-ENGINEER GENERATIVE "CRAWLERS" — deconstruct how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and emerging LLM APIs ingest and cite content; translate findings into llms.txt rules, HTTP header tweaks, vector-store strategies, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
  • STRATEGIZE AEO AT SCALE — define technical requirements and guidance for engineering to deploy advanced schema (JSON-LD, microdata), semantic HTML5, canonical tags, language alternates, and MCP/agent hooks.
  • INTEGRATE PAID AMPLIFICATION LOOPS — partner with marketing to run targeted campaigns that feed first-party engagement data back into organic/LMM ranking signals (e.g., CTR, dwell time, branded queries).
  • INSTRUMENT A FULL OBSERVABILITY STACK — wire GA4, RedShift, PostHog, Search Console, custom SERP scrapers, and LLM-citation trackers; expose dashboards for share-of-answer, vector-index recall, Core Web Vitals, and canonicalization drift.
  • RUN CONTINOUS TECHNICAL AUDITS — profile crawl budgets, indexation trees, hreflang coverage, structured-data parity, render performance, and cache headers; collaborate with engineers to remediate at the code level.
  • CHAMPION GENERATIVE-CONTENT WORKFLOWS — orchestrate AI agents, internal fine-tuned models, and MCP protocol hooks to mass-generate or refactor content built for conversational SERPs.
  • LEAD DOMAIN-AUTHORITY OPS — design outreach automations, digital-PR sprints, and partner programs that secure backlinks and entity mentions from LLM-indexed authorities, reinforcing knowledge-graph confidence.
  • EMBED BEST PRACTICES ACROSS DELIVERY TEAMS — pair with engineering, marketing, product, content teams to bake technical SEO/LMM-readiness checks into CI pipelines and launch rituals.
  • TRACK ALGO AND API SHIFTS IN REAL TIME — stay updated with Google SGE rollouts, AI agents, MCP servers and schema deprecations; collaborate with engineering to spin up rapid prototypes/POCs that validate impact and feed insights into the optimization playbook.

Required skills

  • 5+ years in growth, technical-SEO, or data-driven acquisition roles with demonstrable impact on qualified traffic, LLM citations, and conversions.
  • Mastery of structured data (JSON-LD, microdata), semantic HTML5, canonicalization, hreflang, Core Web Vitals, robots/llms.txt, and advanced performance tuning.
  • Deep experience architecting RAG pipelines, vector-store strategies , embedding workflows, and agent frameworks.
  • Proven ability to translate MCP protocol, AI-agent flows, and OpenAI function calls into scalable content-delivery patterns.
  • Fluency with analytics & observability stacks—GA4, GSC, PostHog, Amazon Redshift/BigQuery, Looker/QuickSight, custom SERP scrapers, LLM-citation trackers
  • Ability to design and execute statistically rigorous A/B and multivariate experiments—defining hypotheses, selecting impact metrics (e.g., share-of-answer, LLM citation rates, CTR), instrumenting tests across the website and mobile apps, and analyzing results to optimize LLM visibility.
  • Hands-on proficiency in partnering with engineers to deliver code-level SEO improvements.
  • Track record of running digital PR, backlink, and community programs that raise domain authority and entity salience in knowledge graphs and answer engines.
  • Awareness of Google SGE, AI agents, schema evolutions, LLM API changes, and ability to validate impact through rapid POCs.
  • Exceptional communication, project-management, and cross-functional leadership.
